"HFV has no HFV. But somehow has 2 motorcycles" (hondasfordsvolvo)

I might have to go look at this tomorrow. I’ve got the day off, and it’s 3 minutes away. Probably crap, but I’m pretty close to becoming a home owner/landlord so a truck would be very handy. Plus I havea big nostalgic relationship with little square rangers, more the 80's than this early 90s model, but close enough. I’m thinking I’ll grow 300 bucks at him and see what happens. Or walk, because it’s probably a pile, that needs tires and a battery. As it looks like it’s been sitting for a while.

Can’t make out much from the pic, except maybe a bit of rust under the rear cab corners. Hopefully it’s worth saving when you go to look at it in person. I hate seeing trucks just sitting like this.

Be careful, a coworkers boyfriend got held up at gunpoint when going to meet someone about a bike on facebook

That reminds me... I need to go replace the Alternator in my dads 84 Ranger for him.

I too have a big nostalgic relationship with these. Dad got an ‘87 shortly after I was born, and that thing sparked my love of cars. Not because of the roll bars, not the lift kit, not the tires, no. It was the square headlights. I thought they made it look mean from the front and I loved it.
I often wonder what happened to it, much like I did with the Bronco. Probably scrapped, sadly.

My Dad had a handful of Rangers including a green 86 that took us one many fishing trips, and was the first thing I ever drove.
He also had a manual, 2wd, 4 banger, 91 Ranger Sport. It was balcl with the big pink and teal graphics down the side, in true early 90s fashion. It was such a cool little truck.

Sounds cool. My dad had that ‘87, and the ‘05 that I posted a while back. That ‘05 sat half underwater for 45 minutes during a mudding-gone-wrong trip a few years ago. The starter had to be replaced, but other than that we never had a single problem with it.

Around here, an $800 ‘92 ranger would closer resemble red/brown dirt than a truck, so good luck!
